Jobbeschreibung: Your role:

As Head of Infrastructure and Operations at CARFAX Europe you will be responsible for the teams that support our agile, cross-functional product development teams, as well as the rest of the organization. We have a dynamic and open-minded IT team with system administrators, software developers, and data analysts with a DevOps mindset. Our goal is to ensure high standards of quality through continuous optimization. You will have a direct impact on both the technologies used and the overall system architecture. Your teams are responsible for operating and supporting our cloud-based virtual infrastructure, securing it and providing the rest of the office IT which supports our business.

What we expect from you:

- Open and collaborative working style, flexibility, communication skills, team spirit, can do attitude, as well as proper documentation and sharing as key working style
- Balance product timelines and team commitments in an exciting, fast-paced environment
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Management Team, development teams, stakeholders, and internal customers
- Support your team-members hands-on with tasks like reviewing AWS Terraform scripts, setting up firewalls and security systems, or helping a new colleague connect to a printer

Your profile:

- Minimum 10 years working experience in enterprise level IT including providing support of IT systems including day-to-day operations and problem resolution
- Experience in a disciplinary leadership role with at least 5 technical employees
- In-depth knowledge of public clouds, containerized architectures, programming languages, databases, and Agile Software Development
- You can read and write Infrastructure-as-Code for AWS, as well as talk intricacies of microservice architectures, and Kubernetes.
- Experience in monitoring, planning, and managing technical security measures to protect the company infrastructure, services, and data
- Experience with enterprise services like Okta, Jira, Zoom, MS 365 products, etc.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure like AWS and Azure
Exceptional attention to the technical details and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with a variety of open-source technologies
- Fluency in English is required; you should feel comfortable working in a multicultural environment with English as the primary language
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical information to users in a non-technical manner
